ADR
WHEN AND HOW TO USE

In what form does ADR come?

ADR is available in 30-g tubes (paste) and 5- and 20-pound buckets (powder).

Can Neigh-Lox and ADR be used together in a maintenance program?

Yes, the products can be used together or individually.

When do I use ADR Paste, and when do I use ADR Powder?

ADR Paste is intended for young foals and horses that cannot or will not eat grain. ADR Paste is also helpful in situations when delivery of the product into the gastrointestinal system must be guaranteed. ADR Powder is top-dressed onto a grain meal and fed as part of a daily maintenance program.

Why is the maintenance dose for ADR Paste 30 grams and for the ADR Powder 25 grams?

The total amount of ADR Paste in a tube is 30 grams, 25 grams of ADR Powder mixed with 5 grams of a carrier. Therefore, both have the same concentration of active ingredients.

How many CFU (colony forming units) does ADR have? Is this more than other probiotics?

ADR Paste and Powder have nine trillion CFU. This represents about twice as much as some other leading brands.

Is it dangerous to have too many CFU of yeast ?

No. If the horse does not use the yeast, it is passed out with the feces.
