En-DureTM
SCIENTIFICALLY FORMULATED

En-Dure, a high-fat, energy-dense supplement.

En-Dure contains a minimum of 50% fat from a unique blend of fat sources including heat-stabilized rice bran, soybean oil, and flaxseed oil. The caloric density of these ingredients makes En-Dure an incredible source of energy for intensely worked performance horses, mares in late gestation and early lactation, aged horses, and growing horses.

Because fats contain 2.25 times the energy of carbohydrates, supplementation with En-Dure can reduce the amount of grain fed to horses. By decreasing meal size, horses are less prone to colic, laminitis, and insulin resistance-related disorders.

High-grain diets are known to exacerbate some muscular problems such as recurrent exertional rhabdomyolysis (RER), a form of tying-up. Research has proven that reducing the amount of grain fed to horses with RER and replacing those lost calories with a fat-rich supplement such as En-Dure is essential in supporting horses with these syndromes.

In addition to its high-fat components, En-Dure contains ingredients that support the overall well-being of the horse.

  • Direct-fed microbials produce a hindgut environment that encourages the growth of beneficial bacteria. When these bacteria flourish, fiber digestion improves and horses can digest forages more efficiently and derive more energy from them. En-Dure contains a proprietary yeast blend that includes Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Aspergillus niger, among other organisms. Lactobacillus acidophilus and Enterococcus faecium are two lactic-acid-producing bacteria found in En-Dure. Recent research indicates that these bacteria may boost immunity in horses of all ages.
  • Natural vitamin E is well known for its antioxidant properties. Antioxidants destroy free radicals, agents that are linked to numerous body-wide conditions such as decreased immunity and poor performance. Supplementation with antioxidants is particularly important in hardworking horses. Horses supplemented with natural vitamin E often have greater tolerance to exercise, with less oxidative stress to muscles. Horses supplemented with natural vitamin E may have shorter recovery times following intense exercise when compared to unsupplemented horses, allowing them to continue training with less downtime between peak performances. Research has also revealed that supplementation with natural vitamin E late in the competitive season may sharpen performances that may otherwise be dulled by overtraining.
  • Lecithin is a phospholipid composed of saturated, unsaturated, and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Lecithin also contains choline, a factor necessary in the production of acetylcholine. As a neurotransmitter, acetylcholine is a critical component of the nervous system. Lecithin aids digestion, encouraging maximal absorption of nutrients.

En-Dure is suitable for horses of all ages and uses. Because of its rich fat content, En-Dure is a safe, palatable source of calories for horses that require high-energy diets to grow, perform, and thrive. Direct-fed microbials, natural vitamin E, and lecithin round out this unique formula. No other supplement offers so much in one scoopful!
