Kentucky Performance Products seeks a field sales representative to cover the Southwest (TX, OK, LA, AZ, and NM). Applicants should be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and ideally reside in the state of Texas. A minimum of 50% overnight travel will be required.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Support distributors by generating orders from the field.
• Increase profile and awareness of product line with end users and retail outlets.
• Develop relationships and work with distributor sales reps.
• Train distributor reps and sales counter staff in retail stores.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in animal science or related field.
• A minimum of 1-2 years sales experience combined with knowledge of equine industry in the Southwest. Candidates lacking sales experience but having a vast knowledge of the equine industry in the region will be considered.
